hi blueseal, nice animation!!! It's good to have a little story to tell!

what does he hold at the end? it's too dark, I can't see.

for some critics for your next one... 2 thing, one is that the camera is moving too much... you can do some cut, it works well too.

and second, your character is always moving something... fingers, eyebrows... , sometimes it's good to hold a pose, or an emotion on the face. (I have to work on that one too... I often move things too much.)

It's nice to see your project finished!

Thanks for the support Mathias, the piece of paper he holds at the end is his plane ticket for his vacation, just to show that the mouse is determined to go on vacation.

I took your advice and sped up the run as he goes back into the house. Thanks for your critique and comments. Much appreciated.

Hey.

I think you've got a nice idea here. I didn't really work for me at the end. I couldn't tell what he was holding and even after you posted what it was, I still didn't really get it? Maybe a different ending.

On the animation, I agree with the previous comment. It feels a bit floaty overall.

You should start playing with different timings. Some moves should be fast and some can be slow. This adds contrast. But don't move something unless there is a reason to.

Your poses can be stronger. Work on your silhouettes. Try putting his spine in some more dynamic poses.

On the walk, he is very stiff in the hips. Feels like his legs are separate from his body. Look at Animator's Survival Kit for poses. Pay attention to how the body twists.

And yeah, better lighting will help too.

Keep it up. Look forward to your next piece.
