Sorry about my late reply, kind of busy this past few days!
Just started to test... for now I think it could definitly be a great tool!!!

Love how easy it is to make thumbnails!

Cool feature to be able to assign the pose to a particular frame!
also the mix poses!

Really easy to use!

 Cool

I just used it few minutes so maybe my questions/sugestions will be dumb and I'm sorry if it's the case!

I noticed that it's creating directly a key on every control each time you set a pose, Maybe you can add a checkbox to let the animator decide if he wants to put a key on each control... or only those who already have some keys. (I'm not sure if my suggestion is really useful but It's the first thing that came in my mind Tongue)

I didn't see anything about mirroring a pose. It could be for the whole body but also really usefull just for the hands... You create a library of poses with the right hand that you could use for the left. (I understand that as you created this script to be used with any rig it could depend on the way the rig was design - name or label...)

Is there a possibility to export the librairy? Like I create a rig, I create a library and ppl who download the rig can also download the library and use it with PoseMan?

If you use two same rig in the same scene, is it possible to use the same library for both of them just by switching the name space?

But again... Amazing tool... I'm really looking forward using it... when I will have time to do some animation. I want to finish Lucien first before going back to animate. And with a lot of my question I had Lucien in mind! So if the way we design a rig can help to use PoseMan in a better way, I'm open to any sugestions!!!

 Cool

Hello again!
First... i just launched new version, now works fine in osx, linux and windows Smiley

Now, i answer your questions Smiley

I noticed that it's creating directly a key on every control each time you set a pose, Maybe you can add a checkbox to let the animator decide if he wants to put a key on each control... or only those who already have some keys. (I'm not sure if my suggestion is really useful but It's the first thing that came in my mind Tongue
Ok, i'll think about it Smiley

I didn't see anything about mirroring a pose. It could be for the whole body but also really usefull just for the hands... You create a library of poses with the right hand that you could use for the left. (I understand that as you created this script to be used with any rig it could depend on the way the rig was design - name or label...)
It's little difficult if i want PosMAN works on all chars, objects, etc.. in a pipeline with name rules could be usefull.. but for now... PoseMAN doesn't have mirror feature :S

If you use two same rig in the same scene, is it possible to use the same library for both of them just by switching the name space?
PoseMAN works fine with reference scenes so you can works with multiple chars (same or not) in the scene with namespaces. How PoseMAN knows what characters do yo want to work? You jus select ANY control of the character that you want and go to Menu>Character>Learn Character namespace. This tell to PoseMan what namespace is in use and now you can Apply the poses to this character. (also always you can make new poses with reference characters Smiley

Is there a possibility to export the librairy? Like I create a rig, I create a library and ppl who download the rig can also download the library and use it with PoseMan?
Of course, you only have to copy poseman directory (for all characters) or just one character directory. The poseman directory is in maya current project. It's good idea always works on maya project base Also, in Linux/OSX you can make a .zip file with whole poseman project from PoseMAN UI Smiley

Thanks for feedback!!! Smiley

See you

I upgrade poseMan with a cool feature: Mix Pose Slider. Mix pose with a slider 0% <---> 100% Smiley

Really cool feature!

hisco, If you make a banner 700 x 55 with few words to explain poseMan I will post it as News on the front page!

I'm comming back on the mirror thing... Tongue (sorry I just think it would be a really cool features)
I was wondering if you add a way for the user to setup the parameter for it, it could work with any rig.
For exemple usually when we design a rig, we will use something like:

character01_l_thumb01_ctrl   /  character01_r_thumb01_ctrl
or
L_thumbe01_ctrl    /    R_thumbe01_ctrl
ot
ThumbCtrl01_L    /     ThumbCtrl01_R

So it's usually organised.

So I was thinking that if you let the user put (exemple for the first one)
Left Control:
_l_
right Control:
_r_

then with the fonction "substitute" when it's executed in a mirror way, the script could change the name of the control for what should be the mirror.

It's just an idea but I understand that it really depends on the quality of the rig!  Wink

great job hisco!

Mathias.

Yeah. Why I didn't know about it before? Cool tool, I found some similar tools, but this one is much better. I have one wish... is there already existing feature like 'camera bookmark' for thumbnail camera? It's very cool feature when you create a bunch of thumbnails for features or fingers and you can in one-two clicks return your camera to the position previously placed  in front of the face or another parts of the body. Thumbnails created fast and accurate with this option I think.
