That's it for now, if you find some other interesting link, feel free to post them!

Let's Share!!!

So I need to watch Surf Up and if possible (if I find it) persepolis, before the Academy Award, I want to see also La vie en rose, but that's not related to animation! (but it's related to the academy award)  Grin

Personnal Point of view of the following.

About the short, I was really not impressed by "Même Les Pigeons Vont au Paradis"...
I would like to see more of "I Met the Walrus" and "Madame Tutli-Putli" I like both style. But I didn't like to much the style of "My love" I find it's difficult to watch.

As for me, Ratatouille is the best of all time ever winner!!... Hum ok i guess i just love Pixar's movies. In fact i haven't seen yet the two other ones. They have to be pretty good ones too! Smiley

I watch Surf's Up yesterday!

It's good but my favorite is still RATATOUILLE!!!

in Surf's Up the water is amazing. The animation is good but not exeptionnal. and the story is average.

also a news found on Animated News

Why Ratatouille could have been nominated for Best Picture

CNN Money elaborates on the interesting notion that Disney/Pixar?s Ratatouille could very well have been nominated for best picture at this year?s Academy Awards if it wasn?t for its ?animated? nature. Even though it was ranked by many critics as one of the year?s best, it was never a serious contender for best picture. Instead, it was relegated to the relatively new category of best animated feature, a category the academy started back in 2002.

Directed by Brad Bird, Ratatouille has garnered a fantastic score of 96 on Metacritic.com, ranking it above this year?s best picture candidates including No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood. In total, Ratatouille has been nominated for 5 academy awards: Best Animated Feature, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Sound Mixing and Best Sound Editing.

That frustrating! I think they should have nominated them, the camera moves are amazing.

It was a great night I find, a great ceremony!

Ratatouille WON!!!! yeah!!!!

Peter and the Wolf for the best animated short.

Marion Cotillard, Best actress... A french actress in a french movie, so rare that they would reward foreign artist in an other field than best Foregn film! About La vie en Rose, I saw it, I didn't like too much the directing but she was amazing!

I also loved how they call back the singer from Once to let her say what she wanted!
